Alton, Mo. – Once again it’s spring. A sure sign of spring is the beginning of the local Farmer’s Market. Although it has been a seemingly cool spring, farmers are still growing items.

The market is open on most Saturdays. Tables and booths are set up in the Alton City park. Opening for business, customers may show up between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
What
Early in the season sellers have tables adorned with baked items, handmade crafts, or petting animals. Small amounts of produce are available as spring has been cool and wet.
