Barnes and Noble is having a reading challenge for kids in grades one through six. If they read a certain amount of books before the challenge ends, they can pick up a free book at Barnes and Noble.
Who Can Do It?
Any kid in grades one through six can participate in this reading challenge. The kids can be public schooled, homeschooled, or private schooled- it doesn’t matter.
Read Books!
Kids must read eight books throughout summer to get the free book. After they read each book, they’ll need to write the author and their favorite part of the book in the reading challenge journal.
Get A Free Book
After your child has read eight books, he can bring it into any Barnes and Noble to get a free book. Some of the free books for the various grades include Pete the Cat’s Family Road Trip, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and Awesome Road Trip Activities for Kids. [1]The reading journals can be brought in only in July and August. [2]
