Governor Mike Parson has decided to hold the first annual Parson Family Fall Festival this October. The festival will be held at the Missouri State Governor’s Mansion. It will be put on on October sixth, and run from 10 AM through 1 PM that day. The festival is free to attend and will have vendors, games, and live music as entertainment.
The Parson Family Fall Festival will be held on the Mansion’s South Lawn and the driveway. Multiple vendors and booths will be set up on the Governor’s Mansion lawn.
Food such as decorated caramel apples, freshly popped kettle corn, and apple cider are available. Games and activities will also be set up. These include things like a train for kids to ride in, pumpkin painting, a maze made out of straw. There will also be a photo booth to capture the memories. Tours of the Governor’s Mansion will also be available on October sixth.
”With fall upon us, there is no better time to have our Family Fall Festival, and we are incredibly honored to host this year’s festivities at the Missouri Governor’s Mansion,” said Governor Mike Parson and First Lady Teresa Parson in a joint statement. “We are looking forward to seeing everyone come out, participate in all of the activities, welcome in the fall season, and best of all – have fun!”
