Kayaks and canoes
Camp River Campground is known for personal, family-friendly service and takes pride in ensuring your camping experience goes off without a hitch. Their off-season is from November 1st to March 1st. Sundays are for appointments only.
The campground has seven cabins, eight RV sites, and eight tent sites. They are located seven miles from the Eleven Point River. They have four unisex bathrooms behind the store, and two unisex bathrooms by the tent sites as well as a camp store, dumpster, and Wi-Fi at the store. For more fun and pleasure, Camp River Campground also has a play place, horseshoe pit, nature trail, pavilion, gem mining, two ladder balls, and washers. Children 16 and under are free.
Camp River Campground Accommodations
Camp River Campground has three main types of sites available. Cabins, recreational vehicle (RV), and tent sites.
Cabins
Cabin 1 sleeps four people, and has one queen bed and one set of twin bunk beds. A smart TV/DVD player, microwave, apartment size refrigerator, full bathroom, and heating/air are also included. Linens will be provided. Outside, there are tables and chairs on the porch, and a charcoal grill, picnic table, and firepit are also available. The cost is $100 a night plus tax. In the off-season, it is $75 a night plus tax.
Cabin 2 has the exact same things as Cabin 1, except it has two full beds. The rest is the same, including the cost.
Cabin 3 sleeps nine people, has a private bedroom that includes a queen bed and a TV/DVD player, has two lofts with two twin beds in each loft, and the cabin has a kitchenette that includes a microwave, apartment size refrigerator, sink, dishes, skillet, convection oven, and one double electric burner. The cabin also has a living space which includes a two futon couches, two reclining chairs, and a smart TV/DVD player; a full bathroom; and heating/air. Linens will be provided. Outside, a table and chairs are on the porch, and a charcoal grill, picnic table, and firepit is also included. Cabin 3 runs $150 a night plus tax. In the off-season, it runs $130 a night.
Cabin 4 sleeps two people, and has one queen bed, smart TV/DVD player, microwave, small refrigerator with freezer, full bathroom, and heating/air. Linens are provided in this cabin. A table and chairs are on the porch, and a charcoal grill, picnic table, and firepit are on the outside. This cabin runs $90 a night plus tax. In the off-season, it runs $70 a night.
Camp River Cottage sleeps nine people. It has two private bedrooms with queen beds, smart TV’s, and DVD players. The cottage also has a living space with one futon and one twin-over futon; a kitchen that includes a sink, convection oven, pans, dishes, double burner hot plate, apartment-size refrigerator, and a microwave; and a full bathroom. Linens are provided. Outside, there is a table and chairs on the porch and a charcoal grill, picnic table, and firepit on the ground. The cost is $150 per night plus tax. In the off-season, the price is $130 per night plus tax.
Squirrel Nest is a primitive cabin (which means it has no water) that sleeps four people. It has a queen bed, futon couch, apartment-size refrigerator, and smart TV, DVD player. There is a table and chairs on the porch and a picnic table, charcoal grill, and firepit by the cabin. This cabin runs $70 per night plus tax; and in the off-season the price is $50 per night plus tax. Showerhouses are across the driveway.
The Tackle Box is another primitive cabin that sleeps five people. It has a queen bed and a twin-over queen bunk, a mini fridge, and a smart TV and DVD player. Table and chairs are on the porch with a picnic table, charcoal grill, and firepit by the cabin. Showerhouses are down the driveway from the cabin. The cost is $80 per night plus tax; and in the off-season, it costs $60 a night plus tax.
RV Sites
Ten RV sites are available. Sites 1 and 2 are 50 amps. Sites 3-7, 9 are 30 amps. Full hook-up sites are there which include sewer, water, and electricity. All of the sites have a picnic table, fire pit, and charcoal grill. The 50 amp sites runs $40 per night, and the 30 amp sites run $35 per night.
Tent Sites
Eight tent sites are also available. There are two primitive sites, and six electric. For up to four people, it costs $10 a night. For up to four people for an electric site, it costs $20 a night. For up to twelve people, it costs $30 a night. Two group sites are also available. For up to fifteen people for the primitive site, it costs $30 a night; and for the electric site, it costs $45. Each tent site has a picnic table, fire pit, and charcoal grill.

Camp River Campground also offers canoe, kayak, and rafting.

River Accesses
For the raft, the campground can only do Greer, Turner, Whitten, and Riverton.
In the spring, they can do Thomasville, Cane Bluff, Greer, Turner, Whitten, Riverton, and 142. They can do Greer, Turner, Whitten, Riverton, and 142 in the summer.
