Myrtle Church Is Collecting Flashlights For Ukraine

The Dellhalf Church of Christ in Myrtle is joining with the Monette, Arkansas, congregation in collecting flashlights and batteries. These items will be hand-delivered to people in Ukraine as part of the Ukraine Relief Effort to those people in this war-torn country. 

Why Are They Giving Flashlights?

The power grid of war-torn Ukraine is in shambles. Many residents are huddling in basements and cellars with only wood fires for light. One of the most requested items is flashlights. The church in Myrtle is stepping up to try and meet this immediate need.

What They Are Collecting

They are collecting flashlights of all sizes and brightness. The flashlights need to use regular batteries. The flashlights cannot be rechargeable. Batteries must also not be rechargeable as there is no way for them to recharge these batteries. 

When Are They Collecting?

The churches are collecting flashlights and batteries Now. They will accept donations until March 15th. Anyone can donate. You need not be a member of the church to help those in need.

Where Can I Donate?

Besides the Dellhalf Church of Christ in Myrtle or the Monette, Arkansas church, you can donate at Mammoth Spring branch of Fulton county library, Simmons Bank and FNBC in Mammoth Spring.
