The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center has planned out the meals and activities for August 2025. Delicious meals as well as fun activities are prepared to make August the best month.
Activities
On August 5th, there will be a Grace Health Toenail Clinic by appointment only. Crafts will be at 10:00 am on August 6th. On the 27th, bingo will be at noon. John Fuller with the Extension Office will be at the senior center on August 30th.
Meals
Starting off the month on August 1st, French onion pork chop, rosemary potatoes, green beans, WG biscuit, and apple dump cake will be served. On the 6th, oven-fried chicken, baked potato, brussel sprouts, WG hot roll, and lemon bars will be dished out. Lasagna, Italian veggies, garlic bread, and a Mississippi mud cake will be served on the 12th. Chicken parmesan, WG pasta, spiced pears, WG hot roll, and a cheery chip cookie will be dished out on the 21st. To close out the month on August 29th, a grilled chicken sandwich, lettuce/tomato, chips, chef salad, and chocolate pie will be served.
