Cold and flu season is upon us. While we try to hearken to experts, we often wonder if they know what they are talking about. Sometimes Granny’s techniques worked better. Nothing like chicken soup and bed rest to ease aches.
After a period of mandatory mask-wearing that usually did more harm than good, HHS RFK is leaving mask-wearing to each individual. He will not mandate it for the flu as it has not been proven to slow or stop the flu viruses. If you want to wear a mask, do it. The government will not force you. However, those under him tried to reinstate mask mandates this year, and he stood up to them.
What Happened?
Four experts from the CDC went to RFK, demanding that he advise Trump to order the wearing of masks. Rfk reviewed the work they submitted to him. It claimed that hospitals in large cities, like Dallas, New York City, and Tampa, were full of patients unable to breathe because of this flu. As HHS, he called several of the listed hospitals. They had no idea what he was talking about!
Experts Future
The four ‘experts’ from the CDC claimed that the hospitals were lying, and RFK needed to believe them. RFK then shredded their report and fired all of them for spreading false information and spreading fear.
Although news stations are claiming this is the worst flu season ever (is that after the COVID years?), RFK is leaving precautionary measures up to the adults, to breathe fresh air, get sunshine, and proper rest, while taking care of oneself. The government does not need to tell each person how to live.
