As March arrives, our annual hunting and fishing permits expire. The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is reminding residents to purchase their permits now, rather than wait until the last minute. These annual permits include small game, fish, waterfowl, and hunting/fishing combinations.

Permits for the spring turkey season and other upcoming hunting seasons will be available at a later date.
Where Can I Buy It?
One can purchase hunting and fishing permits from vendors around the state, online at mdc.mo.gov/buypermits, or through MDC’s free mobile apps. West Plains has an MDC regional office from which you can purchase permits.
Renew Automatically
One can avoid manually renewing permits each year by using MDC’s Permit Auto-Renewal Service. This service allows customers to enroll eligible permits in a service that automatically renews them prior to the start of the next season or permit year.
