The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center has planned a month’s worth of meals and activities for September 2025 for the community.
Meals
On September 4th, they will be serving taco soup with tortilla strips, Spanish rice, spiced peaches, Mexican cornbread, and Churro bars. On September 9th, oven-fried chicken, Normandy blend, scalloped potatoes, WG herb bread, and lemon bars will be served. Meaty bubble-up pizza on WG biscuit, side salad, corn, and Kentucky Derby pie will be dished out on September 19th. On September 24th, tater tot casserole, pickled beets, Hawaiian fruit salad, WG hot roll, and root beer float will be served. To finish out the month on the 30th, Frito pie with chili, pears, and cinnamon roll cake will be served.
Activities
On September 12th, there will be a toenail clinic. On the 23rd, there will be bingo with Gayle. John Fuller from the Extension Office will be at the senior center on September 26th.
