Local author Ms. Brown has written a timely new book entitled Oregon County- Wild and Scenic. Coming out just in time for the eclipse and summer visitors, locals and visitors can gain rich insights into what to see and what makes this county special.

Purchasing Books

Books will be available for purchase at events and can also be purchased at these six locations in Oregon County. In Thayer, they are available at Hirsch Feed and Farm Supply (Thayer) and The Farmer’s Daughter. In Alton, the book is available on the Square in Alton at Court Square Cafe, Jason’s Mexican Restaurant, The Feedsack, and Alton Florist.

Book Signings

Cygnet Brown will sign books on the eclipse weekend in several places throughout Oregon County. She will be at the season’s grand opening of the Oregon County Farmers Market at the Alton (Walking) Park, Turner Creek Park, from 9- noon on Saturday, April 6. Afterward, she can be seen at the Koshkonong Citywide Yard sale from noon until 4 pm.    Then, on the same Saturday from 4-6 pm, she will be signing books at the Eclipse Festival in Thayer at Thayer High School. This offers plenty of versatility in scheduling to meet locals in all of the major cities in Oregon County.

Library

A copy of Oregon County, Wild and Scenic has been donated to the Alton Public Library. The book will be available on Amazon as an E-book after the eclipse.

This is Cygnet Brown’s fourteenth book published. They can all be bought from Amazon.
