Children

Kitchen
What about using them in the kitchen instead of in the coffee maker? In the microwave, they prevent splatters by acting as a cover. If you need to absorb grease or spills, grab one instead of a paper towel. How about wrapping spices and herbs in a filter and letting them simmer in the stew? Coffee filters can be used to strain soup, wine with bits of cork, tea, or any other liquid you wish to become clear. Rubber band the filter over a receptacle and place it over the receptacle. Strain the item through the filter.

Filters are the proper size to place between dishes in a China cabinet.

You can use a coffee filter as a dryer sheet by applying a few drops of fabric softener to it and rubbing it around to spread it out.
