Koshkonong, Mo. – The Koshkonong Heritage Days was held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm. It was a fun day with games, vendors, and music.
Food
A breakfast of biscuits and gravy, sausage, and eggs was available for $5.00. A bowl of chili was served for lunch, while beans and cornbread was available for supper.
Car Show
Throughout the day, right beside the park, a car show was going on. Over a dozen nice cars showed up.
Vendors
Vendors were set up all around the Koshkonong City Park. Some vendors sold woodworking items, bracelets, and raffle tickets. Other vendors had kids’ games and others were doing face painting.
All Dressed Up
Attendees were encouraged to dress up in pioneer, Civil War, or other old-time eras. Several people dressed up for the event.
Games
Games were available throughout the day for all ages. For younger kids, some of the games were finding a needle in the haystack and egg on a spoon game.
Strength
For kids and adults who wanted to test their strength, they participated in the hay roll game.
Speed
Another fun race was the outhouse races. Several contestants competed in it.
