MSU-West Plains Had Events Planned For Pi Day Or March 14th

On March 14, 2023, (3/14) the Missouri State University of West Plains held a Pi Day in the Gohn Hall building in West Plains, Missouri. People of all ages came and participated in fun activities.

Activities

During the hour-long event, there were different activities to do. One was to take a “quiz” about pi. All the answers were in the room. If all the quiz answers were correct, that person got entered into a $20 drawing for the campus bookstore. Another activity was trying to get a perfect circle (3.14…). The attendees could also see where in pi their birthday was.

Pie

While some people may not like the mathematical pi, a lot of people like the food pie. The participants could have their share of pie, including apple, chocolate, lemon, and more.

Attendees

The group ranged from toddlers to seniors in high school, with some college students dropping in. There were about two dozen people who came to the event.
