Do you live on a farm? Are you getting ready for the Walnut Festival Photo Contest? With spring showers, morning dew on sprouts, flying geese, or baby animals, getting a nice photograph should not be too difficult. Focus on Missouri Agriculture wants to see your pictures. They are having a photo contest. Simply shoot an agriculture picture and send it to them. There is No entry fee! And you could win a prize! Here are the details.

What Is Happening?

Take a picture of something related to agriculture. Some topics include Faces on the Farm and Everyday Life. They even have a children’s competition. Submit the picture online. They offer Missouri-based prizes. The picture needs to be taken after January 1, 2021, and submitted by June 7, 2024.

Details

One can enter up to three entries. Last year, they had 1,000 entries.

Prizes

Winners receive a Missouri Grown gift basket and a canvas print of the winning photo. Each category winner receives a Missouri Grown gift basket and a canvas print of the winning photo. They will have runners-up and honorable mention prizes. Governor Parson and Lady Parson will choose the first family’s Choice Photo.

Walnut Festival Contest

Whether you win or not, you can enter your pictures in the Walnut Festival Contest. These will not be digital entries. All entries need to be printed for everyone to view. You can print them locally at the pharmacy. And the Walnut Festival contest will have prizes. Do not forget those categories: people, places, and animals.
