Picking Up Walnuts
People of all ages can pick up black walnuts of any size. Pick up walnuts in your yard or ask your friends if you can pick up walnuts in their yard.
Bringing In Walnuts
You can put the walnuts in anything to bring them in: a pickup truck bed, in bags, in boxes. Mills Feed will be buying walnuts from October 1st through 31st. Mills Feed is paying $13 per 100 pounds of walnuts after hulling. It doesn’t matter how much you bring in, whether it’s 25 pounds or 200 pounds.
Last Year
Last year, Mills Feed only bought walnuts for two weeks at $12 per 100 pounds. This year allows for plenty of time to pick up the walnuts and bring them in.
