During the last week of April, stargazers can get a sight to see with Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Saturn lining up in the eastern sky. It is best to see an hour before sunrise.

Best Time To See It

On Tuesday, April 26, 2022, the moon will be near the four planets. To see Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Saturn, get up about an hour before sunrise and look to the east. They will be easy to spot as they shine brightly. Viewers do not need a telescope to see them.

The Quartet

For the rest of April, the four planets will be lined up. If a telescope is on hand, you will be able to see a fifth planet: Neptune. Neptune will be between Venus and Jupiter.

A Conjunction

On Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1, 2022, Jupiter and Venus will pass extremely close to each other. [1] This conjunction will be the closest the two planets have been since November 24, 2019.
