Alton, Mo. – The 36th Annual Walnut Festival had a woodworking and baking. In case you missed it, here are the winners of the contests.
Woodworking
For the woodworking contest, there was two categories: furniture and craft/sculpture/carving. Jim McCulley won first place in both categories.
Baking Contest
There were three categories for the baking contest: quick breads/cookies, candy, and cakes/pies. Emily Sisco won first place for the quick breads/cookies. Desirae Simpson won the candy category. For the cakes/pies, Amanda Thomas won first place.
They have these contests every year so make sure to practice for next year!
