It is the Easter season. Putting the pandemic behind, communities and churches are celebrating the risen Saviour. One way to celebrate is through Easter egg hunts. Here is a short synapse of local hunts.
Alton
Good Friday K Kountry 95 is hosting the annual Alton Easter egg hunt. They will have lots of eggs and prizes. This begins at 2:00 pm. As mentioned earlier, the Alton Assembly of God church hosts an egg hunt at 10:45 am Sunday morning.
Couch
The Byrd Freewill Baptist Church is joining other churches to host a community Easter egg hunt. Their hunt is Saturday at the Couch School. This begins at 10:00 am. They are planning games and even a puppet show. Earlier, on Friday, the Couch School PAT is sponsoring a preschool egg hunt.
Rover
If you head out towards Rover, Shilo Baptist Church is also having an egg hunt. Their hunt is Sunday morning at 10:00 am. This follows a sunrise service and breakfast.
All of these egg hunts are FREE! They are to help children (and adults) remember why we celebrate Easter- the empty tomb.
