Mammoth Spring, AR – Alton, Thayer, and Thomasville were not the only ones making our nation’s 250th birthday celebration special. On Saturday, July 4, Mammoth Spring opened its park and hosted several games and activities for all who came.

Games For All

What is your preference? Fishing in the grass? How about a short or long game of cornhole with a new friend? Do not miss the cakewalk. But the busiest place was the Bingo arena! Contestants listened quietly as numbers were called, hoping for their own number. This was open to all ages, and the pavilion was packed! Alongside souvenirs to buy were games to play and coloring pages to color while waiting.

Weather

Thunder from a distance crept closer, warning gamers to finish their game and get under cover. The rain was short.

There was no cost for any of this, not even the food. And everything had a family-friendly aura around it.
