The Fourth of July is coming up three weeks. Local towns are planning their Independence Day celebrations. Thomasville, Missouri, is having their annual rodeo and fireworks celebration on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
Cost
The cost is $5 for everyone. [1] The cost is for the rodeo.
Rodeo
The rodeo will be in conjunction with Ozark Family Rodeo. The rodeo will start at 7:00 pm. Due to the fireworks show, barrels and poles will be first, followed by mutton busting, mini bulls, open breakaway, and team roping, among other events. [2] Since the bleachers fill up fast, it’s a good idea to bring some chairs or blankets to sit on.
Fireworks
The fireworks show will be at dark. Although it’s a small town, Thomasville gives a unique aspect to the celebration as the audience is almost right under the fireworks!
Concessions
Throughout the evening, full concessions will be available. The ice cream parlor will also be open.
Raffle
At the celebration, there will be a quilt raffle. If you arrive before they announce the raffle winner, you can buy tickets there.
