On December 7th President Trump was in Kansas City Missouri on Friday to speak at the national “Project Safe Neighborhoods” conference. Project Safe Neighborhoods was just brought back recently after ending during Obama’s administration.

What is Project Safe Neighborhoods

“Project Safe Neighborhoods” is concentrated on getting different law officials to work together more efficiently. Relationships between people like local police, prosecutors, federal marshals, and attorneys are supposed to be improved across the nation. What does this do to help the United States as a whole?

“This effort brings together law enforcement, community groups and local leaders together to get the most violent criminals in the most dangerous areas off the streets and behind bars,” Trump said. [1]

Along with bringing law enforcement officials together, Project Safe Neighborhoods also works towards properly prosecuting criminals after they have been caught.
