Worker’s Compensation
Senator Eslinger has helped secure $575,00 for a grant program to fund worker’s compensation premiums.
The Program
The grant program gives up to two thousand dollars to rural fire protection associates. The program was authorized in 2016 but didn’t have any funding until this year.

Before Eslinger was senator for the 33rd District, Senator Mike Cunningham was sponsoring the program.
Helping Out
The State Fire Marshal Tim Bean said the money will help for critical equipment now that they have financial assistance with insurance costs.
Financial assistance with insurance costs allows more money for critical equipment, essential training and other needs.
