People should be interested in what’s happening in the government, especially nowadays. Our Missouri United States Representative, Jason Smith, votes on different bills on various topics each week.

H. Res 1512

Representative Smith first voted on House Resolution 1512. The resolution goes on HR 7776. This allows U.S. military members to get paid and their needs to be supplied in the fiscal year 2023. It also blocks Biden’s vaccine mandate for all in the military. H. Res. 1512 was passed, with Smith voting yes.

SB 1617

Senate Bill 1617 allows Small Business Administration (SBA) to announce a disaster in rural areas and to help out quicker in those areas. This bill was passed with Representative Smith voting yes.
