Back in April, Thayer, Missouri, held a town hall right before the April elections. There was a good turnout. Thayer is once again having a town hall, this time before the August primaries. The town hall will be on July 30th at 6:00 pm at the Thayer High School.

Agenda
This town hall will be an informational meeting. The various amendments that will be on the ballot in August will also be discussed. Candidates running for city, county, state, and federal offices who will be present will be introduced and given an opportunity to say a few words.
Attendees
This town hall is completely free to attend. Any registered voter in the county is invited to come to be informed about candidates running for office as well as the different amendments. Even if you are not a registered voter, you’re invited to come and learn more about what’s going on in Oregon County and Missouri.

If you have questions for the candidates or about the proposed amendments, there will be a time to ask them during the meeting.
