Mammoth Spring Church Plans Drive In Easter Service

Easter morning.

Easter morning.

Are you longing to attend a church? With so many canceled services, we tend to an online service. That’s good. But sometimes we want real, live people! What can you do when it’s a holiday and the coronavirus is around? First Baptist Church in Mammoth Springs has come up with an answer. Their answer is a drive-in Easter service.

This original idea is coming from a need. In this fearful age, people are longing for God and what He says. However, churches are closed due to social distancing and meetings in large groups. First Baptist Church does have an online presence that was set up years ago. [1] And the church is using the online platform more heartily as people look for answers.

What Is The Church Planning?

At First Baptist, the doors will still be closed. However, the service will be broadcast outside over the speaker system that is set up outside the building.  You come in your car and park anywhere circling the building. The service will is scheduled for outside. This is a tested format. You cannot see the pastor or anything inside. There will be no screens. However, the entire service will be broadcast. Bring the whole family for a faith-filled worship service. The church has only one request. They are asking attendees to keep their social distancing and stay in their vehicles. The service begins at 10:30 a.m.

What Is Easter?

Easter is considered by many as a high holy day, the day we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Besides Christmas, it is the one day of the year many come to church.

Where Is The Church?

The church is located at 16638 Highway 9 North, just outside the city limits of Mammoth Spring, AR. As one of the few, if not the only, church in the area holding services, a crowd is expected; so come early. If you’re hungry for Biblical learning and want to worship with other believers, take hold of the opportunity and attend this free service.
