National Day of Prayer Details Are Finalized For Alton

Alton, Mo. – The National Day of Prayer is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2026. The theme this year is Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations. This is a time when believers gather to ‘Glorify God among the nations,’ while offering up prayers and petitions for our country and those in authority over us. Once again, the ministerial alliance is hosting a prayer event.

What Is This?

Alton is celebrating the National Day of Prayer. Believers can come together and offer prayers and supplications to the Almighty God. Jim Hower is the speaker and the leader of prayer.

When Is This?

They are gathering together on Thursday, May 7, 2026, between 6:30 until 7:30 or 8.

Where Is This?

The event this year takes place at the Alton Assembly of God Church, located at Vine and Hodges Street.

Afterwards

Following the prayer time, there will be fellowship with desserts in the fellowship hall. Please bring a pie, cake, cookies, or other dessert.

Who Can Attend?

This event is open to all people, all ages. You need not be a member of a church to pray.
