Alton, Mo. – The National Day of Prayer occurs on Thursday, May 1, 2025. This year’s national theme is wisdom, strength, and truth.
When Is This?

They have set aside Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 6:30 pm.
Where Is It This Year?
Also, in the past, the residents met at the county courthouse. However, rain was a deterrent to the meeting. This year, the prayer meeting is scheduled for the Alton Assembly of God Church.
What Time Is The Meeting?
The prayer meeting begins at 6:30 pm.
Who Can Attend?
This event is open to the public. All ages can attend. It is a time to pray for our country, asking for wisdom, strength, and truth for our leaders and households.
Additionally, the alliance is asking attendees to bring desserts. They prefer finger foods, but any desserts are suitable for after praying: cakes, cookies, brownies, and pies. There is no cost to attend. If you cannot bring a dessert, please still come to pray.
