The basketball season is gearing up to start and the Alton, Missouri, High School is getting ready for it. They are hosting a “Meet Your Comets” event tonight, Friday, November 18, 2022, starting at 5:30 pm. [1]
Food
In case you aren’t able to grab some dinner, the seniors will have concessions of loaded baked potatoes.
Activities
So you can get a feel of what the Comets are made of, there will be different activities showcasing their skills starting at 6:00 pm. Some of those activities include drills and a 3-point contest. [2] There will also be team introductions of both the boy and girl Comets. After the drills and 3-point contest, there will be a pie auction.
Location
This “Meet Your Comets” event will be at the Alton High School Gym.
Make sure to come out and support our Comets as they head into the basketball season!
