The Preakness Stakes is to take place at the Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, Maryland, on Saturday, May 21, 2022. There are four out of eight horses that has good odds: Epicenter, Secret Oath, Early Voting, and Simplification.

Secret Oath

Secret Oath is the only filly racing in the Preakness Stakes. If she wins, she will be the seventh filly to win the Preakness. [1] Secret Oath’s jockey will be Luis Saez. The filly has 9-2 odds.

Early Voting

Early Voting wants people to vote him the winner before the race. Going with 7-2 odds, Early Voting will try his best to win the Preakness with jockey Jose L. Ortiz. [2]

Epicenter

The favorite of the Kentucky Derby who ended up at second place, Epicenter, has 6-5 odds of winning this race. Epicenter with jockey Joel Rosario, will try not to disappoint his fans as he goes for first place.

Simplification

Having the best odds at winning the Preakness, Simplification is not going to hold back any of this energy. Having finished fourth in the Kentucky Derby and having 6-1 odds for the Preakness, Simplification is going to try and move up his position to first at the end of the race. Jockey John R. Velaquez will help him do that.

No Rich Strike

It is common for the Kentucky Derby winner to race in the Preakness to try to win the Triple Crown. That is not so this year. Rich Strike, Kentucky Derby winner, is not entered for the Preakness Stakes but is concentrating on the Belmont Stakes.
