Thayer, Mo. –The Thayer Bobcats went up against the Willow Spring Bears on October 13, 2023, at Louis Bozman Field. The Bobcats demolished the Bears 64-14.
Senior Night
Tonight was senior night where all the 2023-2024 seniors were acknowledged. Ten seniors were honored from the cross country, pom team, marching band, and football team.
Mighty Mites
At halftime, the future football players of Thayer High School, the Might Mites, were honored as well. Kids from the elementary from the Might Mites and little cheerleaders all lined up along the field to be acknowledged.
The Game
From the start, the Bobcats had hold of the game. Thayer made six touchdowns alone in the first quarter. At halftime, the score was 47-14. In the second half, Thayer started putting in their junior varsity players. The score at the end of the game was 68-14, with the Thayer Bobcats winning.
