Here are the events happening during the eclipse weekend in Alton, Thayer, Koshkonong, and West Plains, Missouri, and Mammoth Spring, Arkansas.

The First Assembly of God Thayer Church is having a lunch on both April 6, 2024, and April 8, 2024, for the Great American Eclipse.

The BB Road Volunteer Fire Department is having a fish fry the eclipse weekend on April 6, 2024, between 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm.

Alton Area Chamber of Commerce met for their March meeting on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Court Square Cafe.

The city of Koshkonong, Missouri, is having a city-wide yard sale on the weekend of the total solar eclipse which is on April 8, 2024.

Thayer, Missouri, and Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, are on the ball. The two cities have planned some fun festivities for the weekend.

The annual meeting of the Oregon County Extension Council will be on March 8, 2024, starting at 5:30 pm at the Thayer Elementary School cafeteria.

The Alton, Missouri, Chamber of Commerce has planned a festival for the weekend of the total solar eclipse that is happening on April 8, 2024.

On April 8, the 2024 solar eclipse’s path of totality will sweep across many states, including parts of the Mark Twain National Forest.
