Thayer is planning another huge celebration of our country’s birthday tonight. The Thayer High School field opens at 5pm.

The main event in June was the Heart of the Ozarks Fair which brought lots of fun. The main event in July is our nation’s Independence Day.

This is officially the Fourth of July weekend with festivities planned all around the area. Communities are celebrating.

Last night Alton held their stunning fireworks display. AltonMo.com was on the scene to tell you what was happening.

The Alton, Mo, Senior Center has their activities and meals planned for the month of July of 2022. Lots of activities and meals are planned.

Thomasville Community Center is celebrating Independence Day on Saturday, July 2. The public is invited. This evening will also have a rodeo.

Faith Tabernacle in Rover is having a 4th of July celebration. They are inviting everyone to stop by for food, faith, and fireworks.

Alton, Missouri, has their Fourth of July celebrations planned. Their celebrations will happen on Friday, July 1, 2022.

Faith Tabernacle Church in Rover, Mo, is having a revival from June 29, 2022, to July 8, 2022. The revival will start at 7:00 pm nightly.

Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Alton, Missouri, is one of those churches. Oak Hill is hosting a VBS on June 24 and 25, 2022.

Community

The Alton Chamber of Commerce met on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Although not too many members were present, a lot was discussed.

Everybody has a birthday. Important historical events also have birthdays. Most people today don’t consider roller coasters necessary.
