Alton, Mo. – October, 2017, The Community Worship Center hosted a fundraiser for the Alton Senior Center. Several were involved in planning the event. The public was invited and the cost was by donations only. All proceeds went to assist the senior center.
Local businesses donated an abundance of food like salads. Desserts like peach cobbler were also brought in. Men donated their time to cook the pulled pork loin.
At the end of the meal, anyone could enter a raffle for the remaining pork loin to be picked up the following day. A large crowd showed up to support our local senior center.
