Alton Chamber Of Commerce Still Taking Walnut Festival Vendor Applications

Only two months remain until the 40th Annual Black Gold Walnut Festival which is happening October 4, 2025, in Alton, Missouri. The Alton Chamber of Commerce is still accepting applications for vendors.

Festival

The festival is taking place on Saturday, October 4th between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. It will be on the square in Alton.

Prices

There are three types of vendor spaces available: two parking places with no electricity costs $40, two parking places with electricity cost $50, and one parking place with no electricity cost $25. Spaces are limited for one parking place as well as electric spaces.

Set Up and Take Down

The set-up for vendors starts on Saturday at 8:00 am. All vehicles must be off the square by 9:30 am. Vendors must remain in place until 3:00 pm. In the morning, the only opening to the square will be at the junction of Highway 19 and Highway 160 east (by the West Plains Bank ATM).

Best Decorated Booth

The Chamber is also having a “Best Decorated Booth” contest. The winner will be given $100.

Application

Businesses or individuals can get a booth, whether to promote their business or whether to sell some homemade items for some extra money. Applications and booth fees must be received by September 21, 2025. No space will be reserved unless the booth fee is included with the application.
