In honor of the United States’ 250th Anniversary, the Alton Culture Club is having a pageant for Oregon County girls on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Date and Location
The pageant will be on Saturday, June 20, 2026, starting at 5:00 pm. The pageant will take place in the Alton High School gym.
Admission
There will be a $5 admission for all viewers.
Pageant
The pageant is open to all Oregon County girls, whether homeschooled, public schooled, or private schooled, ages 5-18.
Categories
There will be four age categories for the girls.
- Miss Firecracker (ages 5-7)
- Miss Sparkler (ages 8-11)
- Miss Liberty Bell (ages 8-11)
- Miss Oregon County (ages 16-18)
Prizes
For each age group, the winner will get $200.00, and the runner-up will get $50.
Application
Individuals must sign up to be in the pageant by May 1, 2026. Applications can be picked up at S&S Fabric on the square in Alton. [1] You can also stop by S&S Fabric if you want more information.
Sponsor
The Alton Culture Club is looking for sponsors for the pageant. In the Red tier, sponsors donate $300; in the White tier, sponsors donate $200; and in the Blue tier, sponsors donate $100.
