Alton, Mo. – Another year has come. An exciting year is in front of us. With that, the Alton Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to move forward. The next chamber meeting is Thursday, June 12. This meeting will have officers chosen. This is also the time of year for membership dues.
Membership
Anyone or any business can become a member of the Chamber of Commerce. The membership term lasts one year, typically from June to May of the following year. With membership, you can vote on ways that benefit our community.
Dues
Dues for a business are $40. Dues for an individual are $25. Their business or the individual gets a vote. While membership is not mandatory to attend or speak at the meetings, the funds accrued are used to benefit the community.
Enrollment
To become a member, complete the form. You can mail it or bring it to the next meeting. The chamber’s mailing address is PO Box 141 in Alton, Missouri, 65606.
Meetings
The chamber meets on the third Thursday of each month. However, if there are events scheduled for that day, it is rescheduled. They meet in the basement of the Alton Methodist Church.
So please do not complain about what is becoming of our town. Come to the meetings and help them for the better!
