The Alton, Missouri, Public Library has the McDonald’s Happy McReaders Summer Program again for this summer! [1]

The Program

To get the punch card, go to the Alton Public Library, or participating library, and ask them for it. Every time you check out and read a book, you’ll get a hole punched out. For every 10 books your child reads, he will get a free Happy Meal from a participating McDonald’s! Your child can have as many punch cards as he wants!

How Long Is It

The reading challenge has already started and will go until the end of August.

Who Can Do It?

Anyone from birth to 17 can do the challenge and get the free Happy Meal.

Why The Challenge?

This program will allow local libraries to provide children with special incentive from their local McDonald’s to continue reading over the summer with a free Happy Meal.
