In-N-Out Burger is a major fast food chain in California that is loved by everyone. What may not be known is that In-N-Out puts Bible verses on some of their food wrappers.
The Beginning
The idea to first put Bible verses on some of their food wrappers originated in the 1980s from than current president Rich Snyder. In-N-Out Burger began putting Bible verses on their food wrappers in the early 1990s. Lynsi Snyder, the current owner and president, said of Rich Snyder,
It was my uncle Rich who put the Bible verses on the cups and wrappers in the early ’90s, just before he passed away. He had just accepted the Lord and wanted to put that little touch of his faith in our brand. [1]
Bible Verses
The Bible verses can be found on the restaurant’s soda cups, shake cups, and other food items. Two Bible verses that are on the wrappers include John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” and Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.”
