The Alton, Missouri, Senior Center once again has their meals and activity plans for the month of February of 2022. If you’re a senior, you can go to the senior center and eat and spend time with other seniors.
Senior Meals
On Thursday, February 3rd, the senior center will be serving pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and fresh fruit. On the 9th, they will be serving spaghetti and meatballs, Italian blend, garlic bread, and no-bake cookies; on the 10th, tater tot casserole, California blend, hot roll, and cook’s choice will be served. For Wednesday, the 16th, lasagna, Italian bread, cheesy garlic rolls, and a peanut butter cookie will be served to everyone.
Fun Activities
There is a lot of fun and engaging activities for seniors in the month of February. On the 2nd, from 9am-1:00pm, will be tax time. On February 8th, at 11:30 am, a prize drawing will be held and at 10:00 am is a board meeting. At 10:00 am on the 10th, a pen pal club will be held. Also on the 10th, at 11:00 am, a birthday celebration with 3 Rivers Hospice will take place. Beginning at 10:00am on the 11th, a first come first serve toe nail clinic will be held. On the 18th, you can get fit with exercising with Kathy. Among other things, a lost loved ones grief support will be held on the 24th at 1:00 pm.
