Alton Senior Centers January Meals and Activities.

A new month brings new meals and activities to the Alton, Missouri, Senior Center. If you’re a senior, here are the foods and activities for the month of January 2022.

January Meals

There is a variety of foods and genres of food planned for January. On January 10th, chicken Alfredo with Italian veggies, hot rolls, and cheesecake is going to be served. On January 14th, Frito pie with corn chips along with jello fruit salad and a cookie will be served. A barbecue beef sandwich with chips, pickle spear, salad, and brownie is going to be served on January 21st. For the last day of January, the 31st, beef enchiladas with re-fried beans, Pico de Gallo, and tortillas will be served.

Activities For January

Lots of fun activities for seniors are planned for January. On January 6th and 7th respectively, it will be crazy sock day and exercise with Kathy. On the thirteenth, a pen pal club will meet so you can write to seniors across the state. On January 25th is tie dye t-shirts with Stacy. The next day, the twenty-sixth, is a lost loved ones grief support at 1:00 pm.

Seniors

Meals are served from 11:00 am until noon. Seniors, sixty years old or older, can eat free. People under the age of sixty has a $6.00 price. The Senior Center is open from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
