Alton, Mo. – The Alton and Thayer Senior Centers are having elections this year; it’s your turn to vote! The centers are encouraging anyone in the community to vote as well as possibly run for a board member.
Alton Senior Center
In Alton, please make yourself known as one who wants to run and help the center move forward. If you want to nominate someone who would also do a great job on the board, you can also nominate someone else. Please call the Alton Senior Center at 417-778-7342 and let them know your thoughts. Elections in Alton are scheduled for Thursday, June 10 during normal working hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Thayer Fun & Friends Senior Center
Fun & Friends Senior Center in Thayer is also having their elections. They are seeking nominees. If you are interested or know of someone who is, please call 417-264-7354. Nominees will be announced at the board meeting on Tuesday, June 15 at 1:00 p.m. A month later, at the July 20th, board meeting, elections are scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
