The State of Missouri Department of Agriculture and SeniorAge has brought seniors the 2022 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Eligible seniors can get 10 vouchers for $50.00.

When you sign up for the vouchers, you have to bring some items with you. If you qualify for the vouchers, you will receive them the same day. If you have any other questions, feel free to call 417-862-0762.
- Proof of income (current bank statement, 2021 tax return)
- Proof of identity (drivers license or Missouri ID)
- Proof of residency (current utility bill or current bank statement)
- Proof of age (you must be 60 years or older)(drivers license or birth certificate)
- Designated proxy (if you want someone to do the shopping for you)
Sign-Up Locations
There are 17 locations you can sign up from but here are the local ones.
- You can sign up in Alton every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in June from 9:00 am-10:30 am.
- At Thayer’s Senior Center, you can sign up every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in June from 9:00 am-10:30 am.
- You can sign up in West Plains every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in June from 9:00 am until noon.
Other Information
The eligible seniors will get 10 vouchers which are $5.00 each. Only one set of vouchers per address. When you sign up, the senior must be present.
