Alton, Mo. – Do you have strangers walking along your property line? The forest service is doing surveying in the area. They are surveying all the property lines bordering the forest in Oregon County.

How Long Will It Take

When asked, one of the forest service men said that the surveying would take a couple of weeks since a lot of property borders the forest.

What To Look For

The surveying men will be putting up what looks like sticks with bright tape near the top along the property lines. They may have to cut down branches to get a clear line of sight from each surveying stick to the next.
