Summer is right around the corner: or at least what we mark as the beginning of summer. Hot weather and sunny days are here. Kids and adults are going to be packing the pools as soon as they open. The West Plains and Alton, Missouri, pools will open on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
West Plains
The West Plains Aquatic Center, which has a slide and a diving board and deep pool, will open on May 28th. The hours for the pool will be from Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Separate admissions will be required for both sets of hours. On Saturdays, they will be open from noon until 5:00 pm.
Cost
For kids and adults 12 and up, it will cost $5.00. For kids from 3-11, the cost is $4.00. Kids two and under are free. Another option is a 10-punch pass which costs $30.00. [1]
Alton
The Alton pool also opens on May 28th. They will be open from Monday to Saturday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Admission
For all kids and adults, the cost is $4.00. For ten swims, it will cost $30.00. Individual passes are $50.00. Family passes for a family of four will cost $160.00. Any additional family member will cost $30.
Pool Parties
If you want to host a two-hour pool party, it will cost $100. The times available for pool parties is from 10:00 am to noon and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm from Monday through Saturday. On Sunday, two times are available, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. [2]
