Alton City Pool Having Movie Night- Limited Tickets Available

New pavilion at the Alton, Missouri, city pool.

The Alton, Missouri, City Pool is having a movie night at the pool on July 28, 2023, starting at 7:00 pm. There is a limited number of tickets available.

Tickets

The cost is $10 per person. The price includes swimming, a pool float, a drink, popcorn, and a movie. [1] As of July 11th, there are fifty tickets left. To pre-register, go here. Kids ten and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. The number of tickets left will be updated daily on the Alton City Pool Facebook page.

When

The doors open at 7:00 pm, with the movie starting at 9:00 pm on Friday, July 28th.

Movie

The movie that will be shown is The Meg. The Meg is about Naval Captain Jonas Taylor having to rescue his ex-wife and her team in a disabled submarine at the bottom of the ocean. But that’s not all. Lurking in the deep water prowls the Carcharodon Megalodon – the largest marine predator that ever existed, which Jonas Taylor will have to evade. [2]

Rules

In general, the rules listed at the pool must be followed. When the movie starts, attendees must stay on their floats the entire time. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and sit outside the pool if you don’t want to stay on the float. If you leave at any time, you will not be allowed back into the pool or to watch the movie. [3]
