Alton, Missouri’s Annual Christmas Parade Brings A Big Turnout

Alton, Mo. – Alton, Missouri, had their Christmas parade on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 6:00 pm. Stores stayed open later than usual for Christmas In Our Town.

Christmas In Our Town

Christmas In Our Town was a fun event for families. They could do their Christmas shopping right in town. Jewelry, ornaments, craft items, clothes, baby stuff, and more were available to buy.

Mr. And Mrs. Merry Christmas

The Mr. and Mrs. Merry Christmas pageant was held on the courthouse lawn. The crowned Mr. and Mrs. Merry Christmas rode in the parade which followed after.

The Parade

Alton’s annual Christmas parade had something for everyone. Whether you enjoy old cars, ATV’s, horses, semi-trucks, Christmas lights, or the candy, the parade was enjoyed by people of all ages.

Even the residents of Shepherd’s View were able to enjoy the parade since the route went on the highway to circle back around.

Packed Restaurants

After the parade, families and friends went to the local restaurants to eat. Corn-Fed Rascals, Burger Palace, and Jason’s Mexican Restaurant were packed with hungry parade-watchers.
