The Heart of the Ozarks Fair is happening from Monday, June 2, 2025, through Saturday, June 7, 2025, in West Plains, Missouri.
Cost
Both Monday and Tuesday, there is no gate admission. On Wednesday, the cost is $5.00. From Thursday through Saturday, adults are $10, kids 6-12 are $5, and kids under six are free.
Monday and Tuesday
On Monday, the junior animal shows will happen, along with judging of fruits, vegetables, home economics, and photography. Tuesday will have the sheep shows, along with flower judging and the auction. The carnival also begins on Tuesday with free gate admission and $1.00 rides beginning at 6:00 pm. [1]
Wednesday and Thursday
Both Wednesday and Thursday, the carnival will be happening between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm. On the 4th, there will be a gospel concert with Mattingly Family and Final Authority at 6:00 pm. On Thursday at 7:30 pm, the SMTTPA Truck Pull will happen.
Friday and Saturday
Friday brings more animal-related events with the junior open show and bucket calf show. At 7:30 pm, the SMTTPA Truck Pull will happen again. On Saturday, the rabbit and poultry show will take place, along with a demolition derby at 7:00 pm. The carnival also will happen Saturday night.
