Koshkonong is getting into the fall spirit. They are celebrating Heritage Days on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Mark your calendar for this Saturday: pets, people, prizes, and more. This truly will be a fun-filled day for all ages.
Competitions
Pick your age and competition. A few notable matchups include sack races for youngsters, chicken chases, car shows, and the famous outhouse races. However, throughout the day, they will judge the best-dressed pet and have a pet parade with the best-dressed pet. They also judge the best-costumed people.
A quarter bingo game will continue through the day, as well as a talent show and multiple yard games. They are even having a needle-in-a-haystack game.
Food
What is a festival without food? Not here! Beginning with a biscuit and gravy breakfast for only $5, which starts at 8:45, the food changes to chili between 11-1. Breakfast is at the senior center. There will be many vendor booths selling food items, too.
Music
The music for the day is all family-friendly. The Howell Family begins the day at 10:00. At noon, school kids sing, followed by storytelling. The day closes with a tent revival.

All of this fun is located in and around the Koshkonong City Park. You will talk about this event all year until next year’s Heritage Days!
