With a theme of Yester-Daze, Myrtle is planning various activities for every age. This Saturday, the people of Myrtle are planning a car show, cornhole tournament, games, food, and live entertainment. It begins early on Saturday, so be sure to set your clocks.

Early Morning

To begin the day, Makayla Morgan will perform the national anthem. At the onset of the day is a pancake breakfast. Prepared by the Myrtle Fire Department, this continues from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. Craft booths open at 8:00 a.m., and cars will line up for judging at 9:00 a.m.

The parade lineup also begins at 9:00 a.m. for the 10:00 a.m. parade. The silent auction also begins at 9:00 a.m. Quilt show entries need to be submitted by 8:30 a.m.

Mid-Morning

The games for children begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue throughout the morning. Following the parade is the announcement of Mr. and Miss Myrtle Yester-Daze contest. At 11:00 a.m., the bounce house will open, and train rides begin. These are FREE!

Cornhole Tournament

The cornhole tournaments begin along with other children’s games. At 11:00 a.m., one can purchase a barbecue lunch to support the Myrtle Fire Department.

Afternoon

Stick around for music and karaoke after lunch. At this time, they will announce the contest winners.

Everything here is family-friendly. So set your alarm and rise early to participate in the fun and enjoyable day filled with activities in Myrtle, Missouri.
