Thayer, Missouri, is having its annual fireworks display for Independence Day on July 4, 2026, at the Thayer High School football field.
Date and Location
Thayer’s celebration will be on Saturday, July 4th. All the festivities will be at the football field at Thayer High School.
Activities
The festivities will start off at 5 pm with live music by the Southern Edge Band. [1] Skydivers and AirEvac will follow, with both of them landing on the football field. Fireworks will be at dark. The $5,000 giveaway will also take place that evening.
Vendors
Free watermelon will be available to all attendees while it lasts. [2] There will be food vendors, games, contests, politicians, and much more.
Cost & Attendees
There is no cost to go to Thayer’s Independence Day celebration. Anyone from the area or visiting are welcome to come and celebrate the United States’ 250th anniversary.
